It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loyd Gay Robertson of Pisgah, Alabama, who passed away on December 11, 2024, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his great-nephew William "Billy" Allen Holcomb; his sons-in-law, Michael "Rip" Gilchrist and Dale Parker; his grandson Charles Joseph Robertson Wilks (CJ); and his parents, George Ellis and Maymie Robertson.
He is survived by: his children, Loyd Dale Robertson (Jackie) of Oxford, AL, Charles Leon Holcomb Jr. (Linda) of Pisgah, AL, Suzette Gilchrist (Ed), Darlene Gilbert (Steve) of Madison, AL, Joanie McCarver (Dale) of Athens, AL and Donna Parker (late Dale) of Adamsville, AL.; his siblings, Cecil Tovertson and Polly Cooper of Signal Mountain, TN; and his niece Nancy Sue Couch Robertson.
