He was predeceased by: his children, Stacie Summerford Graben and Jimmy Scott Summerford; his parent Ovella Knight Summerford; and his brother Bobby Joe Summerford. He is survived by: his wife Janie Summerford; his siblings, Sandra Ramona Travis, Linda Gail Wilkerson and Roy J. Summerford; and his grandchildren, Cameron Tolbert, Jannie Perry, Joe Perry and Haley Graben.
