He was predeceased by: his daughter Marquetta Ott; his father Floyd "Shine" Ott; his niece Amanda Ott; and his nephews, Jonathan Ott and Nicholas Bland.
He is survived by: his wife Diane Bunns Ott; his children, Mae Ott and Brelin Ott; his mother Mary Jo Ott; and his siblings, Beverley Ott, Diane Moore (Thomas) and Johnny Ott (Debbie). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
