He is survived by: his daughters, Lori McCrary (Darren) and Shannon Barrentine; his grandchildren, Cora McCrary, Legion McCrary, Joclyn Richards, Annslee Barrentine and Angel Sue Richards; and his siblings, Betty Burnett and Wayne Barrentine (Mary). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
