Jacob Goolesby Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 18, 2024, at the age of 69, Jacob Goolesby of Pisgah, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Jacob may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Jacob touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh Goolesby and Lucy Goolesby; his son Cain Goolesby; and his nephew Shane Voiles. He is survived by: his wife Darline Goolesby; his children, Eli Johnson (Victoria) and Jessie Goolesby; and his sister Barbara Heard Annette Chapman (Billy). He is also survived by 3 Grandchildren 1 Great Grandchild A Host of Friends and Family.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Rainsville Funeral Home (498 McCurdy Ave N, Rainsville, AL 35986). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
