He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Marcine Ball; his children, Marketta Ball, Tammy King, Michael Ball (Terran) and Johnny Ball (Crystal); his siblings, Dorothy Williamson and Jimmy Carl Ball; his grandchildren, Melody Thurmond, Sheena Smart, Breanna Ball, Myriah Ball, Chloe Ball, Cameron Ball and Jacob Lemons; his parents, Harry Ball and Mary Lou Ball; and his brother John N. Ball. He was also cherished by 7 Great Grandchildren.
