She was predeceased by: her parents, George Cornelius and Minnie Ola Sanders Posey (James McCarson); and her siblings, Daisy Rollins, Arthur, Ora, Elmer, Homer, James and Posey.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah "Debbie" Waldrop, Shirley McCarson and Steve McCarson; and her granddaughters, Brandy Brown and Amanda Speas (John). She is also survived by several great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
