She is survived by: her sons, Floyd Thurmond (Angelia) and Alvin Thurmond (Carol); her grandchildren, Nick Thurmond (April), Jennifer Brown (Trey) and Michelle Morton (Mike Trimble); her great grandchildren, Carter Thurmond, Colton Campbell, Noah Thurmond, Landon Thurmond, Jacob Brown (Dixie Hicks), Daniel Jernigan (AnnaKate) and Dylan Jernigan (Ashley McCallister); her siblings, Lorene Shaw and James "Buddy" Bowling (Linda); and her brother-in-law Fred Shaw. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
