He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Henry Smith and Earnestine Hendricks Reeves; his stepfather Roy Reeves; and his siblings, Juanita Moore, Barbara Craig, Dwight "Spot" Smith and Henry Delmis Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Thomas Smith; his son Do Smith (Kristi); and his grandchildren, Crimson Smith (Ethan Barrett) and Jacee Shannon (Nick). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
