She was predeceased by: her parents, Elbert Maxwell and Arbainer Smothers Maxwell; her husband James "Buddy" Hasting; and her siblings, Frances Hawkins, Ethel Hendrix, Bob Maxwell, Floyd Maxwell, Mack Maxwell and Estell Maxwell.
She is survived by: her sons, James "Bucky" Hasting Jr. (Sharon) and Justin Hasting (Sandra); her grandchildren, Brandon Hasting and Jami Gentry (Ross); her great grandchild Addalynn Gentry; and her sister Linda O'tinger. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Corner Stone Funeral Chapel (40 Cornerstone Dr, Ider, AL 35981). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
