He was predeceased by: his father William B. Atkins, Jr.; and his grandparents, William B. Atkins, Sr., Ola Mae Atkins, John C. Braswell and Jimmie S. Braswell.

He is survived by: his mother Gayle Atkins; his sister Lea Ann Presley (David); and his aunt Muffy (Sarah KuyKendall). He is also survived by other loving relatives & friends.
