Smith; his wife Kathy Smith of Warrior; his children, Brittney Caswell of Vincent, Heath Brown of Pinson and Alex Sims of Odenville; his grandchildren, Kit of Vincent, Maggie of Vincent and Avi of Vincent; his mother Beulah Smith of Clay; his brothers, Craig "Randy" of Clay and Mike Smith (Jackie) of Clay; and his close friend Jo Ann Frazier. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
