He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Tucker; his parents, Howard Tucker and Annie Tucker; and his brothers, Muarriam Tucker and Tommy Tucker.

He is survived by: his daughters, Judy Ledbetter (Ronnie), Carol Wadsworth (Cliff), Paula Johnson (Donnie) and Cheryl Palmore (Carl); his grandchildren, Keith Wadsworth (Melisa), Wes Johnson (Leah), Brock Wadsworth (Christen), Mark Wadsworth (Shannon), Laura Gaddy (Jonathan), David Palmore, Shane Ledbetter and Dana Fortenberry (Jason); his sisters, Elizabeth Newman (Edwin) and Sherley Deweese; and his sister-in-law Johnnie Atchison. He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren.
