Nelson Deaver Sr. Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Nelson Deaver Sr. of Pinson, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 20, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Nelson has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Alexander Deaver and Mary Ella Deaver (Nelson). He is survived by: his wife Rebecca "Rickie" Deaver (Sewell); his children, John (Angela), William and Jill Deaver (Brian Moon); and his sisters, Kay Waite and Karen Seamon.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Deerfoot Church of Christ (5348 Old Springville Rd, Pinson, AL 35126). A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family feels that Nelson would prefer a charitable donation be made to the Jefferson Christian Academy.
