She was predeceased by: her parents, Mamie Beatrice and John Winston Stone, Sr.. She is survived by: her former husband John Thomas McKee (J. T.); her husband James Aubrey Pettus (Pete); her brother James Stone (Judith); and her children, Dr. Michael McKee (Elizabeth), Patricia Winklbauer (Dave) and Jonelle Williams.

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Pinson United Methodist Church, 4507 Bud Holmes Road, Pinson, Alabama 35126.
