He is survived by: his wife Myra Jillian Forman Estes of Odenville; and his children, Delilah Estes of Moody, Evangeline Estes of Leeds, Deleena Poarch (William) of Lincoln, Leonard C. Estes III (Kim) of Moody and William L. Estes of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and extended family.
