John L. Gilham Obituary

On October 24, 2022, John L. Gilham (Johnny)

passed away in his home in Pinson, AL at age 79

surrounded by his family and prayer. A beloved husband,

father, and grandfather, he is preceded in death by his

parents, James & Clara Gilham, 8 brothers and 3 sisters.

He is survived by his wife, Rena, and his children and grandchildren

Tommy Gilham (Pam), Laura Griffin (Steve), Cary Gilham (Meagan),

Jeremy Dunn (Julie), Rebekah McGinnis (Andrew),

Anna Price (Grant), Joshua Griffin (Giovanna)﹘

6 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Johnny and Rena were married for 58 wonderful years

as they raised their children and enjoyed their grandchildren.

He loved going to church, spending time with family,

gardening, and fishing with his buddies.

Visitation will be Tuesday, November 1 from 5:30 - 7:30 pm.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held November 2 at 2:00 pm,

the doors open at 1:00 pm for viewing at The Healing Place Church

(5709 Trussville Clay Road, Trussville, Alabama).
