He is survived by: his sons, Johnny C. Melvin (Licia), Randall "Randy" Melvin (Gail), Terry Melvin (Areita) and Mark Melvin (Sherry); his grandchildren, Grant Melvin (April), Kyle Melvin (Kayla) and Colton Melvin; his great grandchildren, Khloe Melvin and Kwynley Melvin; his stepgrandchildren, Taylor Kirk, Hannah Kirk, Erica Bradford (Jay), Jessica Uptain (Odis), Westley Gortney (Krista) and Dale Gortney (Heather); and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Natalie Goff, Logan Bradford, Landon Bradford, Adalayda Uptain, Paislee Uptain, Leevi Uptain, Kameron Gortney, Kaden Cortney and Amerlia Gortney.
