He was predeceased by: his parents, Boyd Shofner and Kathryn Shofner; and his siblings, Michael Shofner, Kay Shofner and Pat Shofner.

He is survived by: his children, Brandon Shofner (Lauren Shofner) of Springville, AL, Tarin Howard (Brett) of Moody, AL and Savanna Shofner of Odenville, AL; and his grandchildren, Emma, Charleigh, Griffin, Maddox, Autumn, Kylie, Dax, Laurel Cate and Addalynn.
