She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Murphree and Martha Murphree; and her son Danny Thomas. She is survived by: her husband Edward Thomas; her daughters, Freida Gallagher (John) of Chalkville, Janice "Kay" Linley of B'ham and Ann Potts (Jim) of Dallas, TX.; her grandchildren, Regina Gallagher Allison (James) of Fultondale, Shelley Potts Taylor (John) of Ft. Worth, TX, Dawn Gallagher Crawford (Allen) of Springville, Jason Morrison (Angela) of Lebanon, TN, Alan Potts (Monika) of Dallas, Jonathon Gallagher (Michiko) of Chelsea, Jennifer Morrison Acosta of Pinson and Christy Thomas Jolly (Stephen) of Remlap; her brother Terry Murphree (Freida) of Pinson; her nephew Jay Cotton (Lynette) of Lay Lake; and her niece Sheryl Martin (Terry) of Kimberly. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
