He was predeceased by: his parents, Waymon Stone and Elna Stone; his wife Maria Ellen Columbis Stone (Maryhelen); and his son Michael Wayne Stone. He is survived by: his close friend Wayne Chambers; his grandson Xander; his daughter Christina Elaine Stone Thorne; his son-in-law Jeremiah Thorne; his grandson Alexander Ashton Thorne (Xander); and his siblings, Robert Latimer, Jimmy Stone (Deborah), Bill Stone (Ann), Kenny Stone and Melissa Morrow (Kevin).
