She was predeceased by: her husband G. W. Nicholas; her parents, Minnie Maybelle Harris and Luther T. Harris, Sr.; and her siblings, L. T. Harris, F. D. Harris, Vivian Tillery, Eldora Thomas, Lois Gwin and Juanita Stallings.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael Nicholas (Patty) and Mitchell Nicholas (Brenda); her grandchildren, Mindy Romano, Amber Nicholas, Shelley Morris, Laura Thomas and Austin Nicholas; her great grandchildren, Brooklyn Reid, Eli Romano, Rowan Allen, Ava Thomas and Olivia Thomas; and her great great grandchild Lincoln Snow. She is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
