She was predeceased by: her husband Kennith Thomas; and her son-in-law Ronnie Brown. She is survived by: her daughter Sue Sellers; her granddaughter Leslie Pendergrass; her parents, Birdie T. Turner and Kennith Thomas; her husband Sue Sellers; her daughter Leslie Pendergrass (Joshua); her grandchildren, Heath Brown (Cynthia) and Betty; her great grandchildren, Brandon, Addison, Madison, John Howard Brown and Thomas Sellers Pendergrass; and her friends, Bill Fulmer, Mona Fulmer and Margie Tolbert. She is also survived by numerous other relatives, friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Alabama Baptist Children's Homes & Family Ministries and/or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Betty Jean.
