She was predeceased by: her husband Leslie Dees Sr.; her parents, Annie L. Deese Money and William L. Deese; and her siblings, Mary Lou Durden, Sarah Parker, James Deese and John L. Deese.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Dees Coston (John T. Coston Jr.) of Troy, AL and Leslie Dees Jr. (Patty); her daughter-in-law Penny Mullis Dees of Grady, AL; her grandsons, Wiley Jacob Dees (Brooke) of Ramer, John Thomas Coston III (Michaela) of Nashville, TN and William Chandler Coston of Troy; her great grandchildren, James David Dees, Leslie Ann Dees and Sawyer Thomas Coston; and her siblings, Katie Smith, Franklin Deese and Becky Hall.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Pine Level Baptist Cemetery fund.
