She was predeceased by: her husband David Lesher Pierson; her grandson Jared David Strong; her parents, Martin Jones and Minnie Everett Jones; and her siblings, Frances Jones Felton, Joshua Thomas Jones, Curney Rudolph Jones, Vernie Rodell Jones, James Martin Jones Jr., James Homer Jones, Ivey Sidney Jones and Grady Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Martin Erwin Pierson (Debbie) and Karen Pierson Clanton (John); her grandchildren, Selina Kirksey (Matt), Scherri Nader (Walt), Whitney Standefer (Steven) and Wesley E. Strong (Savanna); and her great grandchildren, Trey Nader, Walker Bumpers, Andre Bumpers, Sidney Nader, Hannah Bumpers, Salena Strong, Jared David Strong Jr., Carson Earl Strong, Johnathan David Strong, Hunter Kirksey and Easton Kirksey.
