He is survived by: his son Timothy Russell; his mother Sammye Higdon Dahlberg; his brothers, William Russell (Sue) and John Russell; his nephew Jonathan Russell (Nicolette); his great-niece Abbigail Russell; and his close friends, Peggy Pope, Randall Black (Amy) and Angela Walker (Lamar). He is also survived by five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
