She was predeceased by: her parents, Vella D. McGee and Lawrence Ellis Oliver; her former husband James Clifford Scarbrough, Sr.; her sisters, Virginia Larrimore, Barbara Green and Sue Sims; and her granddaughter Heather Groves.
She is survived by: her husband Cliff; her children, Rhonda Mullins (Jacob) of Newark, DE, Johnnie Groves (Allen) of Maryville, TN, Doni Jordan (David) of Columbia, SC and James Scarbrough, Jr. (Tori) of Ely, MN; her grandchildren, Lenora Spence, Crystal Richards, Jacob Mullins, Morgan and Taran Scarbrough; her great grandchildren, Madison Spence, Chloe, Cayla, Casey Richards, Emma and Lily Mullins; and her siblings, Algerian Denson, Gerly Autrey (Bill) and Samuel Ellis Oliver (Grace).
