She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Kennedy and Pasco Kennedy; her siblings, Alfred, Floyd, Edgar, Joseph, Annie, Willie Mae, Ruth and Annette; her daughter Charlotte; and her grandson Ulysees.
She is survived by: her children, Cheyenne Doster (Betty) of Columbia, Gwendolyn Donnell of Dothan and Michelle Doster of Tallahassee, Florida; her sister Sandra Corbitt of Pinckard, Alabama; her grandchildren, Sharell of Columbia, James Capers (Chakyra) of Hampton, Georgia, Ericha Turner of Nashville, Tobias Donnell of Orlando and Tierney Donnell of Dothan, Alabama; and her friend Deborah Kirkland. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, family and friends.
