He was predeceased by: his parents, Junie Lee Waters and Ellafair Kennedy Waters; his wife Barbara Ann Benton Waters; his daughter Laura Ann Waters; his siblings, Ruby Rigoli, Virginia Richards, J. L. Waters and Billy Gene Waters; his grandson Corey Waters; and his close friend Edith Isler.
He is survived by: his sons, James Mitchell Waters (Evelyn) and Kirk Waters (Rehobeth); his siblings, Yvonne McNeil and Ben Waters of Gulfport, MS; his grandson Travis Waters (Whitney); his great grandchild Gentry; his grandchildren, Monica Leclaire (Kyle), Quinton Waters and Caitlin Murrell (Nathan); and also Michael Hadley.
Social distancing and mask guidelines will be observed.
