She was predeceased by: her parents, Hayward Blocker and Georgia Blocker; her husband William Sanford Preston; her daughter Judy Thomley; and her great grandchild Aaron Kennedy.
She is survived by: her children, Arthur Preston, Norma Kurasz (Terry) and Cathy Carruth (Sam); her grandchildren, Kendra Kennedy (Aaron), Christina Smith (Jody), Matthew Kurasz and Alyssa Kurasz; her siblings, Wynell Brooks, Darryl Blocker (Peggy) and Wilton Blocker (Lynell); and her sister-in-law Susanna Blocker. She is also survived by extended family members and friends.
