He was predeceased by: his wife Donna Shell; his parents, Windle Shell and Melva Shell; and his brother-in-law Larry Joe Barnwell. He is survived by: his children, Caskey Shell Ganato (Joe) and Dustin Shell (Courtney); his grandson Dalton Shell; and his siblings, Charlotte Barnwell and Michael Shell (Rhonda) of Piedmont. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
