It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Irene Fuqua of Piedmont, Alabama, who passed away on August 11, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Virgil Fuqua; her son Richard Fuqua; and her parents, Thomas H. Dobbs and Cliffie Dobbs. She is survived by: her children, Sue Motes (Gene) of Jacksonville, Jean Mann (Clinton) of McDonough, Georgia and Allen Ray Fuqua of Piedmont. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren; and three great great great grandchildren.
