He was predeceased by: his parents, Dennis Floy and Pluma Mae Parris Fortenberry; his sister Darlene Bosse; and his brothers-in-law, Gene Freeman, Clinton Justice and David Bosse.
He is survived by: his significant other Carol Steed Fortenberry; his children, Michelle Fortenberry and Jeff Rader; his siblings, Albert "Dude" Fortenberry, Douglas "" Fortenberry (Patsy) of Alabama, Danny Wayne Fortenberry, Marvin Fortenberry, Yvionne Freeman and Libby Justice; and his pets, T. J. and Peanut.
