He was predeceased by: his daughter Deborah Schmaldinst; and his parents, Robert Merle Stants Sr. and Audrey Foley Stants. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Stants; his daughters, Lori Morehouse (Jay) and Cathy Stants; and his grandchildren, Bethany DeaKyne (Donnie), Isaiah Morehouse (Charissa), Arianah Stevenson (Chris Davidson), Ethan Schmaldinst (Julia), Dominic Stevenson, Moriah Morehouse, Tyler Schmaldinst (Sean), Maila Morehouse, Colin Schmaldinst (Leta), Chelsie Stone (Carter), Zizi Morehouse and Olivianna Morehouse. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
