He was predeceased by: his wife Gwen Hardin Kerns. He is survived by: his children, Donna Kerns Smith (David L.) of Anniston, Kay Kerns Kisor (Michael) of Piedmont and Tim Kerns (Marcia) of Fort Payne; his grandchildren, Tyson Kerns Kisor (Amanda), Katherine Kisor Drake and Meg Kerns; his great grandchildren, Kaylee Drake, Rafe Drake, Bryce Drake, Davis Kisor and Harper Kisor; his siblings, Jane Kerns Lindsey of Piedmont and Sparkey Kerns (Louise) of Piedmont; and his caregivers, Teri Haney, Sherry Fagan, Margaret Goodwin and Suzie Kennedy.
