She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Joseph Wheeler and Ruth Sanford Love; her siblings, Dan Love, Jack Love, Tony Love, Ethel Wood and Peggy Voiles; her husband Howard L. Smith; her stepson Bill Snow (Alice) of Marietta, GA; her brother Billy Love (Virginia); and her sister-in-law Ruth Love of South Pittsburgh, TN. She was also cherished by nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
