It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rae Brown Clarke of Piedmont, Alabama, who passed away on July 5, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernice Williams and George Duncan of New York, City.; her son Winstell Brown, Jr.; and her sister Betty Ann Williams. She is survived by: her children, Diane Brown Pottier, Toina Ann Brown and Tonia Brown; her sisters, Charlotte Jones, Wanda James and Bernice Green; and her grandchildren, Erik S. Pottier and Valerie Patterson. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren; and many foster children; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.
