He was predeceased by: his wife Kay Goss Pace. He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Owenby (Roger) of Piedmont and Rodney Pace of Piedmont; his grandchildren, J. P. Porter (Haily) of Villa Rica, Jordan Porter (Brooklyn) of Mount Zion, J. O. Owenby (Brandie) of Piedmont, Tracy Davis (Alan) of Hiram and Jessica Monk (Rusty) of Dallas; his great grandchildren, Avery Porter, Bradley Shaw Porter, Kirra Owenby, Braylen Owenby, Emma Proctor, Colton Proctor, Clayton Bryant, Alana Davis, Jack Davis, Hudson Monk and Aubrey Monk; and his brother Robert Pace (Bobbie) of Spring Garden. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
