With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Monroe Levern Measles of Piedmont, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 25, 2024 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his siblings, Billy Measles (Ann), James Measles, Agnes Glass (Glen), Joy May Petracco, Patricia Chaney, Betty Sims and Frances Measles; and his grandson Christopher Turner.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Measles; his children, Carla Gann (Raymond), Shane Harrelson (Kellie Tumlin), Jimmy Perez and Chasity Evans; his brother-in-law Mo Chaney; his granddaughter Briana Parchman; his granddaughter-in-law Melissa Turner; and his great grandchild Desire "The Baby" Parchman. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dansby Heritage Chapel (707 Southern Ave, Piedmont, AL 36272). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
