She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis McNutt and Edith McNutt. She is survived by: her husband Michael Smith of Piedmont; her children, Wendy Thacker (Alan) of Douglas and Stephen Smith (Angie) of Piedmont; her sister Daphne Garrett (Eddie) of Rainsville; her grandsons, Carson Aaron (Macy Jones) and Jacob Smith (Ashton); her great grandchildren, Jace Smith and Cameron Smith; and her pets, Zooka and Ellie. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Flowers may be sent or memorial contributions may be made to the Piedmont Congregational Methodist Church.
