He was predeceased by: his father Louil Daniel "Louie" Watts, Sr.; his siblings, Susan Burdine (Greg) and Paul Watts; his niece Johnna Watts; his nephew Alexx Watts; and his grandfathers, Roy T. Watts (Elizabeth) and Harmon Blackwood (Annie Lou).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Watts; his children, Tracy Watts Jones, Joshua Edmondson (Julie), Tyler Daniel Watts, Brandon Morris (Becky) and Stephanie Cleveland (Wes); his grandchildren, Cameron Jones, Colton Jones, Chandler Jones, Dylan Edmondson, Ethan Edmondson, Vayda Watts, Khalessi Watts, Nora Cleveland, Noel Morris, Eli Morris and Belle Morris; his mother Kathleen Watts; and his brothers, Neil Watts and Andy Watts. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, and lifelong friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Collier-Butler Funeral Home (824 Rainbow Dr, Gadsden, AL 35901). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Collier-Butler Funeral Home Chapel (824 Rainbow Dr, Gadsden, AL 35901).
The family will accept green plants but in lieu of flower stands, they request that donations be made to The Freedom Center of Gadsden, 1601 West Meighan Blvd. Gadsden, Alabama 35901.
