She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Simmons and Marcella Smith; her brothers, Terry Simmons and Ronald E. Simmons; and her sister-in-law Donna Simmons.
She is survived by: her children, Erica Hinsley Tillman (Carlos) of Boaz and Adam Padilla of Florida; her grandchildren, Deonta Tillman, Taegan Tillman, Carlin Tillman and Jaxin Padilla; her sisters, Cindy Simmons Besley of Attalla and Janet Simmons Crowe (Gary) of Glencoe; and her pets, Marshall and Prince.
