She was predeceased by: her son Michael Brown; and her parents, Roy Coogler and Mary Coogler. She is survived by: her husband Rev. Garry Brown of Piedmont; her daughters, Cynthia Ray (Shannon) of Piedmont and Melinda Roberts (Joel) of Jacksonville; and her grandchildren, Dr. Josiah Roberts (Jessica), Nathan Roberts, Emily Roberts, Erin Ray and Lexi Ray. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
