It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillie Brown of Piedmont, Alabama, who passed away on July 29, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husband Tony Brown; her daughter Anita Downey; her grandsons, Christopher Downey and Drew Evans; her parents, Mancel Turley and Adele Turley; and her sister Barbara Anderson.
She is survived by: her husband Smith; her daughter Sherry Cobb (Joey); her son-in-law Michael Downey of Piedmont; her grandchildren, Shawna, Mitchell Ray, Brittni Evans, Cody, Brooke Penland, Joseph Cobb and Jacob Cobb; her great grandchildren, Julie Ray, Maggie Ray, Hayden Ray, Brody Penland, Jaxson Penland and Tyson Penland; and her sister Mary Ann Tucker (Earl) of Weaver.
