He was predeceased by: his son Marty Dunaway; his parents, Joseph Dunaway and Kathleen Dunaway; and his brothers, James, David and Wayne Dunaway.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Johnson Dunaway of Piedmont; his children, Joey Dunaway (Susan), Clinton Dunaway (Carrie), Richey Johnson (Holly), Steve Johnson (Kim) and Gina Ferguson (Rickey); and his brother Grey Dunaway. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the First Baptist Church of Weaver, Building Fund, 407 Anniston Street, Weaver, AL 36277.
