He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley Goss Davis; and his parents, Robert Paul and Silvy Prince Davis. He is survived by: his daughters, Carol Sanford (James) of Pleasant Gap, Rhonda Roland (Randall) of Huntsville and Sharon Allen of Pleasant Gap; his grandchildren, Gentry Sanford (Matt Townson), Brittain Sanford (Britt), Wesley Roland (Kaitlin) and Brett Allen; his great grandchildren, Caroline Townson, Thea Sanford and Lila Sanford; and his siblings-in-law, Jerry Goss (Debbie) of Piedmont and Deb Parris of Piedmont. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
