It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jo Ruth Motes Ledbetter of Piedmont, Alabama, who passed away on December 2, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Motes and Edwena Motes; and her sister Effie Fuqua. She is survived by: her daughters, Kim Garmany (Jackie) of Ball Play, Karen Ledbetter of Piedmont and Paula Davidson (Greg) of Hokes Bluff; her grandchildren, Amanda Mills (Tyler), Derek Garmany and Noah Davidson; her great grandchildren, Khloe Mills and Emily Mills; and her brothers, Gene Motes (Sue), Edgar Motes (Linda), Charles Motes and Dan Motes. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Spring Garden Volunteer Fire Department.
