He is survived by: his son Terrence Ammons; his grandchildren, Jaycin Ammons, Labayah Ammons, Micah Ammons and Sharhya Ammons; his stepchildren, Shequia Ridley, Peggy Ridley, Christian Ridley and Kaitlyn Ridley; his stepgrandchild Ivory Powell; his siblings, Brenda Harbour of Piedmont and George L. Ammons (Debra) of Piedmont; and his brother-in-law Randall Ridley. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
