He was predeceased by: his wife Carol Denise Finch. He is survived by: his children, James H. Finch, Jr. (Jenny Hollomon) and Valerie Finch; his grandsons, Jonathan Finch of Piedmont and Austin Finch of Piedmont; and his siblings, Travis Finch (Debra) of Georgia, Faye Renfroe of North Carolina, Dean Smith of Piedmont and Elsie Willis (Floyd) of Piedmont. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
