She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Eugene Harper and Mary Swan Harper; her husband Ed Tinney; and her siblings, Peggy Yarborough, Jimmy Harper and Bob Harper.
She is survived by: her sons, Mike Tinney of Piedmont, AL, Mark Tinney of Piedmont, AL and Tim Tinney; and her sister Angie Brock. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
